Singer, Songwriter, & Producer
First met in November of 2015 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, during a 'meet & greet' at one of KEM's shows. Erica, being a deejay, asked him to sign her vinyl records. KEM obliged and was so transfixed by Erica that he asked if they could keep in touch.
The pair shared their first date on New Year's Eve in Atlanta that year – at a church service to usher in the new year. They quickly developed a friendship and an emotional connection – one that, to them both, felt forged by divine intervention. KEM and Erica continued their courtship for two years, during which they found that they shared many commonalities. KEM knew Erica was "The One." Their deep discussions influenced his #1 hit song, "Lie To Me," which contains lyrics that confirm his intentions of marrying her.
KEM formally proposed to Erica on New Year's Eve in 2017 – at the same church where they began their courtship. They were wed on the Hawaiian island of Maui in December 2019. He sang "Share My Life" as his soon-to-be bride walked up the aisle. KEM penned his eighth #1 hit single, "Stuck On You," for his new wife. In the song, he expresses the love, trust, and strength that he finally found – in Erica.
The couple currently resides south of Atlanta, and between them have six children:
