A native of Atlanta Georgia, Jessica Fields is a leader in the community and healthcare space. Jessica became a pharmacist after graduating from Florida A & M University in 2013. Her career began at Walgreens and transitioned to Sam’s Club as a pharmacy manager in 2016. It was at Sam’s Club that Jessica grew an affinity for ensuring access to quality health care in all areas of town no matter where you lived. She learned early on that she was most people’s first line of defense in the scope of healthcare. Serving in a minority community, Jessica wanted her patients to feel that they didn’t have to leave their side of town to receive quality care and services from a pharmacy. Jessica partnered with her alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to provide COVID vaccines all throughout their service area which included her hometown of Lithonia, GA. Over 10 clinics, and over 1000 people in the community received their first, second, booster and flu shots from these clinics. Placing a focus on mental health, Jessica partnered with Soles4Souls® and organized a multi-state closet decluttering shoe drive sending thousands of pairs of shoes to underserved countries. Prior to this, Jessica spent 4 Years leading a group of women who oversaw the monthly mentorship and educational enrichment of roughly 200 at risk youth. For her efforts, Jessica was recognized by her alumnae chapter with 2 Awards. The Fortitude award and the Pinnacle award for outstanding achievements made inside and outside of Delta. Professionally, Jessica was awarded Pharmacist of the Year for all of Sam’s Club in 2022. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Jessica represented District 1 on her city’s SPLOST committee. Jessica continues to seek ways to serve the community by currently being an active member of both the Junior League Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Jessica currently serves as a Market Health & Wellness Director with Wal-Mart Neighborhood Markets, overseeing community engagements and a $65 million operation from the pharmacies in the Las Vegas Area.
