Cameron is the Head of Public Policy for Prime Video and Amazon Studios, leading Amazon’s Public Policy and Community Engagement teams in Southern California regionally, and for Amazon’s Media and Entertainment businesses – Prime Video, Amazon Studios, MGM Studios and Amazon Music nationwide. Before joining Amazon in November 2018, Cameron served as an Advisor to United States Senator Dianne Feinstein, and as Political Director of the Senator’s successful 2018 reelection campaign. Prior to Senator Feinstein, Cameron worked for former Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and briefly produced and co-hosted a political podcast hosted by actor Sean Astin. In 2023 Mayor Karen Bass appointed Cameron to the Los Angeles City Tourism Board of Commissioners – a five member commission tasked with advising the Mayor and City Council on tourism, marketing the City, and Convention Center business and operations. Cameron also serves on the boards of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles County Business Federation (LA BizFed), Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC), Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA). He has degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, where he serves on their Board of Trustees.
